VIRAL VIDEO: A video of a police officer from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, has gone viral. In the video, the officer stops a motorcyclist and scolds him, saying, "You idolize Sidhu Moose Wala, who was a terrorist."
However, the image of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was displayed on the motorcyclist's bike.
The police officer is also seen reprimanding the young man for riding without a helmet.
The viral video has led to scrutiny of the police officer, who has now issued an apology for his statement.
Jharkhand Police Officer Bhushan Kumar, who had labelled Sidhu Moose Wala a terrorist, admitted that he was unaware of Moose Wala's background but now realizes that Moose Wala was a great soul.
The officer has also apologized to Moose Wala's parents.
Following the viral video, Jamshedpur Police has ordered an investigation into the actions of the officer.
Sidhu Moose Wala's life came to a tragic end in a shooting incident in Mansa district, Punjab, on May 29, 2022. This incident occurred shortly after Punjab Police had withdrawn his security.
Notably, gangster Goldy Brar, based in Canada, took responsibility for the attack, conspiring with jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to carry out the assassination.
