Tillu Tajpuriya Murder: Following the murder of Tillu Tajpuriya in Tihar Jail, DG Sanjay Beniwal has taken significant action by ordering large-scale transfers in the jail.

According to reports, 99 officers and employees have been transferred to different jails on his orders. The transfers were issued on Thursday i.e. May 11 and affected all the officers and employees involved.

It's worth noting that this isn't the first action taken since Tajpuriya's murder, as seven personnel of the Tamil Nadu Special Police (TNSP), who were on duty at the time, were suspended last Friday (May 5).

Action Taken Against TNSP Personnel Following Tillu Tajpuriya's Death

Let us tell you that in connection with Tillu Tajpuriya's death, seven personnel from the Tamil Nadu Special Police (TNSP) who were on duty at the time of the incident have been sent back to Tamil Nadu.

According to reports, DGP (Delhi Jails) Sanjay Beniwal had earlier written to the Tamil Nadu Police regarding these allegations and asked them to take action against them.

On 2 May, Tillu Tajpuriya was murdered in Tihar Jail by alleged attackers, identified as Deepak alias Teetar, Yogesh alias Tunda, Rajesh, and Riyaz Khan.

Interrogations of the four are underway and many revelations are being made in this regard. It has also been revealed that the attackers had been planning to kill Tajpuriya for the last two to three years.

A CCTV footage from the Tihar Jail had also surfaced on social media, showing that the attack on Tillu Tajpuriya took place in the presence of security personnel.
