Tajpuria was brutally attacked and beaten to death by rival gang members including Yogesh Tunda, which resulted in his death.
Following the brawl, Tajpuriya was rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital in Delhi, where he was declared dead by medical officials.

Additional DCP of West District in Delhi Police, Akshat Kaushal, stated that early this morning, they received information from DDU Hospital about two Undertrial Prisoners (UTPs) who were transferred from Tihar Jail to the hospital.
One of the UTPs, identified as Sunil alias Tillu, was brought in an unconscious state and was later declared dead.
The other person, named Rohit, is receiving medical treatment and is now in a stable condition.
According to prison officials, Tillu Tajpuriya, who was being held in the high-security ward on the ground floor, was attacked by four inmates affiliated with the rival Jitender Gogi gang.
The individuals who carried out the attack, identified as Deepak, Yogesh, Rajesh, and Riyaz Khan, were lodged on the first floor of the same ward.
They allegedly cut open the security iron grill using an "improvised sua" and used bedsheets to jump down to the ground floor.
