Rahul Gandhi Flying Kiss Gesture: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has once again found himself in controversy. On Wednesday, during the discussion on the no-confidence motion, he blew a flying kiss to BJP MPs in Parliament.
Several female MPs have filed complaints against Rahul's actions with the Lok Sabha Speaker. Meanwhile, Union Minister Smriti Irani deemed it disrespectful.
It is noteworthy that Rahul Gandhi addressed the Parliament for the first time as a Member of Parliament on Wednesday.
After concluding his speech, as he was leaving, a particular incident occurred which raised objections from female MPs.
At that time, Union Minister Smriti Irani was giving a speech. However, the exact moment of Rahul's reaction has not been captured on camera.
During his speech in Parliament, Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Smriti Irani, targeted Rahul Gandhi and stated that only a person with an anti-women attitude could give female MPs a flying kiss.
This unprecedented behaviour has raised questions about his thoughts towards women. It is disrespectful.
Central Agriculture Minister Shobha Karandlaje also targeted the Congress MP over the flying kiss incident. She labeled Rahul's behavior as 'inappropriate' and filed a complaint with the Speaker of the Lok Sabha.
Several female MPs have signed the complaint letter, requesting strict action to be taken. All the female BJP MPs who signed the letter reached the Speaker's chamber.
Central Minister and BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje said that Rahul Gandhi gave flying kisses to all female members and left. This is utterly disrespectful behaviour.
It's inappropriate and indecent behavior by a member. Senior members are stating that such a thing has never happened in the history of India's Parliament. What kind of behavior is this? What kind of leader is he?
That's why we've requested the Speaker to take action by obtaining CCTV footage and investigating against him.
