The case pertains to the Nighasan police station area of Lakhimpur Kheri where the bodies of two girls aged 17 and 15 were found hanging from a tree. The incident has created a stir in the entire area.
After the body was found, the agitated people blocked the road and demanded the early arrest of the accused.

The villagers also tried to chase the bike riders but they could not be caught. After that, the bodies of the girls were found hanging from the tree in the search.
