The festival of Holi is being celebrated with great fervour across the country. Amidst this, several leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended their heartfelt wishes to the people of the nation.

PM Modi tweeted, "Heartfelt greetings of Holi to all my fellow countrymen. May this traditional festival adorned with colours of affection and goodwill bring new energy and enthusiasm into all your lives."

Similarly, Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote on his Twitter, "Heartfelt wishes to all countrymen on the grand festival of colours and joy, Holi. May this festival of joy bring prosperity and goodwill into your lives and serve as a medium for the transmission of new energy."

Wishes from Rajnath Singh and Rahul Gandhi

On March 24th, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited Leh where he played Holi with the soldiers and applied colours to them. On the occasion of Holi, March 25th, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh wrote on the social media site, "Wishing you all endless greetings of the festival of Holi. May this festival of colours bring joy, enthusiasm, and new energy into your lives. Happy Holi."

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi tweeted on social media, extending his best wishes to all the countrymen on the festival of colours, Holi. He expressed hope that this festival would increase unity, brotherhood, and harmony among all Indians.

Priyanka Gandhi's Message

On the occasion of the Holi festival, Priyanka Gandhi also extended her greetings on the social media platform X, saying, "Today is Holi - a festival of joy, enthusiasm, sweetness, camaraderie, and equality. It's the time when even the gods get engrossed in playing colors with humans. Whether it's playing Holi with water guns and flutes in the lanes of Banke Bihari Vrindavan or playing with the ashes of the pyre in the cremation grounds of Varanasi like Lord Shiva, let's embrace them with love and share happiness with family, society, and the nation.
