As the cases of riots over the nation augmented and the demand for detention and beheading of two of the ex-BJP minister Naveen Jindal and Nupur Sharma over their remarks on Prophet Muhamad, Naveen Jindal's family leaves the capital city of Delhi after they received the death threats from the Islamists group from an unknown number; former BJP leader informed Police.

He also informed the Police that some suspected people followed him when he had gone out to meet someone.

On June 11, around noon, he wrote on Twitter and shared the screenshot of the number with which he received the threat and said “I encountered with some suspicious calls and got death threats where me and my family was targeted, I have informed about the Police Control Room about the same”.

“I am still living in Delhi. Out of fear my family has left the city. This is an exodus,” Jindal said.

A march protesting the threats was organised in the Laxmi Nagar Chowk in the wake of the surge of the death threats to Naveen Jindal and Nupur Sharma and now the police have taken the matter seriously as there was information that some unknown people had done a recce of his house.

He has been receiving death threats regularly from the Islamist mob after he made a remark on the Prophet Muhammad on Twitter following which he was expelled from the BJP citing that the “Party strongly denounces insult of any religious personalities of any religion”.

Furthermore, the fire has been ravaged all over the country by the Muslim community asking for the execution of Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal who supported the ex-BJP spokesperson via Twitter.

The tensions between the communities swelled when groups launched the stone-firing after Friday prayers in several parts of the world. In Karnataka’s Belagavi, a model of Nupur was found hanging on the Fort Road.
