Cross-Voting Case: Congress may take immediate action against its MLA Kuldeep Bishnoi for allegedly cross-voting in the Rajya Sabha elections in Haryana.

Giving this information on Saturday, party sources said that Member of Legislative Assembly Kuldeep Bishnoi can be suspended from the party along with relieving him from all party posts.

Along with this, the Speaker of the Assembly can also be recommended to abolish Kuldeep Bishnoi's membership.

The party will decide on this soon. Kuldeep Bishnoi is currently a special invitee member of the Congress Working Committee.

In Haryana, two Congress MLAs cross-voted, leaving Congress candidate Ajay Maken with only 29 votes out of 31 and BJP-backed independent Kartikeya Sharma defeating him by a narrow margin.

Congress state in-charge Vivek Bansal has spoken to the party leadership regarding the action. At the same time, after the defeat of Congress candidate Ajay Maken in the Rajya Sabha elections, Kuldeep Bishnoi tweeted and said that I have the skill to crush the fun, do not leave the forest due to the fear of snakes.

Along with this, he also retweeted the tweet of a Twitter user, in which it has been said that only the decision taken at the right time separates a person from others.

Kuldeep Bishnoi was upset with the party for not getting the post of Haryana Congress President and had said that he would take a decision only after meeting Rahul Gandhi, but the meeting did not take place.

The defeat in Haryana has put Bhupinder Singh Hooda in trouble and the party leadership may consider it as he had promised to win the seat for the party.
