After the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, a large number of devotees have been visiting the city of Lord Rama. Approximately 500,000 people visited Ram Lalla on the previous day (January 23).

During this time, some disruptions were observed due to the heavy crowd, but the police and administration quickly brought the situation under control.

UP Government Urges VVIPs to Postpone Ayodhya Pilgrimage for Next 7-10 Days

As per the Uttar Pradesh government, considering the large number of devotees visiting the city of Lord Rama, a request has been made to VVIPs and prominent individuals to refrain from planning their pilgrimage to Ayodhya for the upcoming 7 to 10 days.

In case they decide to visit, they are requested to inform the administration or the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in advance so that suitable arrangements can be made for their convenience.

Meanwhile, ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar stated that devotees of Lord Rama will be allowed to have darshan from 7 AM to 11 PM.

It is noteworthy that following the consecration of the idol of Ram Lalla, there has been a significant increase in the influx of Rama devotees from across the country to Ayodhya.

The roads of Ayodhya, from the streets to the temple premises, are crowded with Ram devotees. The administration is finding it challenging to control the crowd.

To manage the crowd and allow devotees to have darshan, the administration has made several arrangements, including extending the darshan timings until 11 PM.

How is the Situation Now?

Last Tuesday, a record 500,000 devotees visited Ayodhya. Due to the crowd, the situation became such that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had to personally visit Ayodhya.

However, within a few hours, the arrangements returned to normal. On Wednesday morning, devotees are being facilitated to have the darshan of Ram Lalla in the Ram temple one by one.

The Ayodhya administration states that the situation is under control today. A three-tier security arrangement has been made.

Compared to yesterday, more security personnel are deployed today. Only devotees are allowed on the route to the Ram Janmabhoomi.
