Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Preparations are underway for the grand celebration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The inauguration of the majestic Ram Temple is scheduled for January 22, and on the same day, the idol of Lord Rama will be consecrated in the sanctum sanctorum.
The construction of the splendid temple dedicated to Lord Rama is in progress, thanks to the generous donations from devotees.
The first floor is already complete, where the idol of Lord Rama will be installed.
So far, the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has received donations exceeding 5500 crore rupees for the construction of the Ram Temple.
Gujarat leads in contributions, with two individuals from the state making the highest donations for the Ram Temple.
Morari Bapu tops the list of the highest contributors for the construction of the Ram Temple. Morari Bapu, hailing from Gujarat, has made the highest donation for the Ram Temple construction thus far.
According to information provided on the website of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Morari Bapu has contributed a donation of 113 million INR for the construction of the Ram Temple.
Morari Bapu, who was born in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, lives there with his family, and has become a leading supporter of the Ram Temple project.
Additionally, his followers from America, Canada and Britain have also collectively donated Rs 8 crore separately.
After Morari Bapu, Govindbhai Dholakia, a diamond businessman, has contributed the second-highest donation towards the Ram Temple construction, with a generous donation of INR 11 crores.
As part of the fundraising campaign, he handed over a cheque of INR 11 crores to the trust overseeing the construction of the Ram Temple. Govindbhai Dholakia is the owner of the Diamond company Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK).
Known for his philanthropy, Govindbhai makes headlines every Diwali for showering his hundreds of employees and their family members with lavish and valuable gifts.
It is noteworthy that the diamond trader from Surat, Govindbhai Dholakia, has been associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for several years.
