Is China Wants to Weaken India by Donating to Rajiv Gandhi Foundation?

According to the reports, the foundation also received donations from Mehul Choksi, accused in PNB Bank scam.

Politics in the country has intensified after the clashes between soldiers of India and China at Galwan Valley, Ladakh. Political parties are hitting out at each other after 20 Indian soldiers martyrdom in this incident. In this series, the biggest question that came into the light is that of China's donation in the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. BJP alleged that according to the annual report of 2005-2006, the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation (RGF) received donations from the Embassy of People Republic of China, which was included in the list of general donors.  

Was China's donation to RGF, a plot to weaken India?

The funding was done by China so that the Indian government can remove the thorns lying in the way of China and it will be easy for China to shine its business in India and under the guise of this business, what poisonous intent did China succeed and how much did it do for it, all these are big questions arising right now. The people of the country are questioning why the country was being sold so cheaply.

BJP accused Congress of receiving fund from China in RGF:

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda alleged that some Chinese institutions have provided 300,000 US dollars to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. He said that there is a secret relationship between China and Congress. Let us tell you that the chairperson of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation is Sonia Gandhi and many Congress leaders are associated with it. Why did the People's Republic of China and China give such a hefty amount to this foundation nearly a decade ago? He said that the country wants to know for what purpose the foundation was given so much money.

RGF also received donations from Mehul Choksi and Zakir Naik:

According to the reports, the foundation also received donations from Mehul Choksi, accused in PNB Bank scam. He made an unannounced donation to this foundation led by Sonia Gandhi in 2014-15. On the other hand, the Islamic Research Foundation of f Zakir Naik, accused of having links with terrorists, had given Rs 50 lakh to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation in 2011. However, the Congress later returned the amount. At that time BJP had said that people have been fooled by returning the money.

What is Rajiv Gandhi Foundation (RGF)?

The foundation was set up after the death of Rajiv Gandhi in May 1991. It was said that the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation has been created to fulfill the vision of Rajiv Gandhi. According to the information on the foundation's official website, rgfindia.org, states that from 1991 to 2009, the Foundation works for the promotion of education, science and technology, underprivileged and empowerment of the disabled.
