India’s Covid Tally Crosses 9 Lakh Cases But 9 Positive Signs Too

The increase in the number of cases of Covid-19 are definitely giving tension but there are some figures which point towards a future of relief. Many states have re-imposed lockdowns in different ways to prevent infection. India has worked very fast in the last two months regarding testing and as a result of this, many cases of infection are being seen. India's COVID positivity rate in India is 7.44, which used to be 4.14 per cent in the first week of May. This means that more people are getting positive out of the number of people who are getting tested. On the day that India has crossed the 9 lakh cases.

The Recovery Rate Now Exceeds 63%

There are 9,06,752 total corona cases in India, 9,06,752 of which 5,71,460 have been recovered. With this, the recovery rate of Covid-19 patients in the country has improved to 63.02%. According to the Ministry of Health, the ratio of recovery and deaths is now 96.01%: 3.99%.

Recovery is Better Than the National Average in 19 States

The country has recovered 63.02% but there are 19 states / UTs which are performing better than the national average. Ladakh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana have a recovery rate of over 75 per cent.

Death Rate Declines Continuously

Death rates are steadily decreasing compared to Corona positive cases in India. The death rate or case fatality ratio was 3.28 per cent at the beginning of May. It has steadily decreased and currently stands at 3.28 per cent. This simply means that we are succeeding in reducing deaths from the corona.

More than 30 States have Lower Fatality Rates

According to the Ministry of Health, the fatality rate in the country is 2.64 per cent. While there are 30 states and union territories where this rate is less than the national average.

Covaxin Human Trial Begins

The first phase of the human clinical trial of Corona's vaccine has been started by ICMR-Bharat Biotech together. Safety screening of volunteers is being done. After this, they will be given small doses of vaccines. ICMR has also added a protocol for testing antibodies on volunteers. About 1,500 volunteers will be vaccinated in the first phase of the trial.

There is No Community Transmission in India

The Government of India has denied community transmission, despite having nine lakh corona cases. According to Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, "In a country like India, the data that we have, the processes that we have followed, every time we tried to find the answer to this question, it turned out that there is no community transmission. Some There is areas where the localized transmission can take place like it did in Dharavi. "

1.20 Crore Samples Test Completed

India has started testing millions of tests in a day, starting with a few thousand tests. The number of tests is continuously increasing in June and now in July. Over 28 lakh samples were tested on Monday itself. The use of Rapid Antigen Test Kit has increased the number of tests quite rapidly. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), as of July 13, 1,20,92,503 samples have been tested.

Corona Infection Limited in Some States

If we look at the statistics of new cases in the country, eight of the 10 states which have the highest number of cases are coming were more than 1,000 cases are coming daily. The situation in Gujarat and Rajasthan is getting better. Apart from this, the situation is improving comparatively in the rest of the states and union territories.

Home Isolation is Proving Effective
