Important News for People Going Home on Chhath Puja, Railway took this Big Step

Railways has run many additional special trains, but despite this the trains are getting full. Railways is keeping a special watch on those traveling without tickets.

The number of people going home on Chhath Puja is increasing at railway stations. In view of this, the railway administration has stopped the sale of platform tickets at New Delhi, Old Delhi and Anand Vihar Terminals.

In this way, only passengers are being allowed on the platform. Railway officials said that keeping in mind that the crowd does not increase in the station premises, the sale of platform tickets has been banned till November 9.

There is a rush of passengers at railway stations before Diwali. After Diwali, more number of passengers going home for Chhath Puja are reaching the station. Temporary waiting rooms have been set up at New Delhi Railway Station and Anand Vihar Terminal to handle the crowd. Passengers are being allowed to go to the platform shortly before the departure of their train.

Most of the trains going to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand leave from New Delhi, Old Delhi and Anand Vihar terminal, so special vigil is being kept on these stations. Railway Protection Force personnel have been deployed along with additional railway personnel.

Let us tell you that a large number of people are going to their respective homes for Chhath Puja. Especially people going to some cities of Bihar-Jharkhand and UP are going home through buses and railways. That's why crowds is being seen at railway stations and bus stands as well.
