The flaw of Globussoft's website has been detected by security researcher Eliot Alderson. Earlier, information was also given about a privacy issue present in the Arogya Setu app by Eliot.
Sumit Ghosh, the co-founder of the Chingari app, immediately responded after coming to the notice and said that even though the app is part of Globussoft, it has not been harmed in any way. Ghosh said, 'Thanks for pointing out the wp issue in front of me, the chingari app was created with Globussoft and this app or website is completely safe and will not affect our users.
According to app co-founder Sumit Ghosh, the issue on the website will be fixed soon. He said, 'The security and engineering teams of both the Globussoft website and the Chingari App are separate and not interlinked. Chingari will soon become an independent company. This app has been installed more than 1 million times in the first 15 days of launch and the app has reached the top charts after Tik Tok ban.
