Today i.e. on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge extended their congratulations to the Border Security Force (BSF) on its 59th Foundation Day.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended the exemplary force on its establishment day and stated that their dedication is a testament to their valor and unwavering commitment to the defence of the nation.
Home Minister Amit Shah expressed pride in the BSF for safeguarding the country's borders seamlessly. Meanwhile, Congress President Kharge conveyed his salute to all BSF personnel.
In a post on the social media platform 'X,' Prime Minister Modi remarked, "On the Foundation Day of the BSF, we commend this exemplary force that has carved its identity as the guardian of our borders. Their valor and unwavering commitment in the defence of our nation are a testament to their dedication. I also want to acknowledge the role of the BSF during natural disasters for prevention and relief efforts. The establishment of the BSF in 1965 was aimed at protecting India's borders and preventing international crime. The BSF operates under the Ministry of Home Affairs of the central government. The crucial role played by the Border Security Force in the liberation of Bangladesh is unforgettable."
Amit Shah and Kharge also made posts. In a post on X, Amit Shah said, 'On the 59th Foundation Day of BSF, I extend my best wishes to all the soldiers and their families. The nation is proud of BSF, which, with its courage, keeps our country's borders invincible. I salute the brave martyrs of BSF; the nation will always be indebted to your sacrifice.'
Meanwhile, in a post on X, Kharge said, 'Salute and gratitude to the male and female personnel of the Border Security Force, who, for 58 years, have celebrated the protection of the country's borders as the first line of defense. As a nation, we always feel deeply indebted and extremely proud of your unparalleled courage, inspiring sacrifice, resilience, unwavering determination, and valor.'
