Along with Nidhi, two more persons, Sameer and Ravi were also arrested.
Nidhi is a resident of Sultanpuri, Delhi. Since Anjali's death, there have been a lot of questions arising over the statements made by Nidhi in this matter.
Anjali's friend Nidhi told the Delhi Police that a boy named Deepak, a resident of Delhi, had ordered ganja from her.
Significantly, the name of one of the accused who has been caught in the Kanjhawala incident is also Deepak.
However, there is still a doubt whether Nidhi had supplied the ganja to the accused Deepak or someone else.
Anjali Singh met a painful end in the early hours of January 1, 2023 after she was dragged for about 12 km by a car in Delhi's Kanjhawala area. A Baleno car going from Sultanpuri to Kanjhawala hit Anjali's scooty, killing her.
Anjali's naked dead body was found in the Kanjhawala area. Meanwhile, the Delhi government has sanctioned Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia for Anjali's family.
