India's star female boxer and Rajya Sabha MP MC Mary Kom has announced to provide aid to those infected with the coronavirus in the country. The number of corona virus-infected patients in India is increasing steadily. Mary announced to donate Rs 1 crore from her MP fund.

Many celebrities and sports personalities have donated to fight against coronavirus. World champion Indian women boxer who is also a Rajya Sabha MP also informed about giving one crore rupees from the Local Area Development Scheme Fund on Monday. Mary told the Indians through her social media account that she has decided to donate 1 crore of her MP's fund.

Not only this, Mary Kom has also decided to donate her one month salary in the battle of Corona. Sharing this on Twitter, she wrote that she will donate one month's salary to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund.

Significantly, Mary was involved in controversy earlier this month when she did not follow the quarantine protocol. After returning from abroad, Mary attended the event held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. She had met President Ram Nath Kovind and had breakfast with him. Whereas the protocol says that every person has to go through a 14-day quarantine period after traveling abroad.
