Coronavirus: Record of Deaths Broken in Last 24 Hours, Total Number of Patients are 4,25,282 Now

Coronavirus is wreaking havoc in the country and the highest number of deaths of 445 people were reported in 24 hours in the country. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Monday, the total number of coronavirus patients in India has increased to 4,25,282, while 13699 people have died due to this virus so far. At the same time, 14821 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours and 445 people have also died. This is the highest number of deaths reported ever in the last 24 hours. It is a matter of relief that 2,37,196 patients have been able to beat Corona and the recovery rate has reached to 55.77 percent.

69,50,493 SAMPLES TESTED SO FAR IN THE COUNTRY

In the midst of the Corona crisis, the process of accelerating the testing for COVID-19 is underway and as of June 21, 69,50,493 samples of Corona have been investigated in the country, whereas in the last 24 hours, on 21 June, 1,43,267 samples were investigated. Corona's positivity rate has reached to 10.34 percent in the country.

According to the data, till June 21 i.e. till yesterday, Tamil Nadu was on top in conducting the testings. The national capital Delhi is at the 8th position, whereas so far, 7,71,263 samples have been tested in Tamil Nadu while 3,20,932 samples have been tested in Delhi.

AMIT SHAH HELD ANOTHER MEETING ON SUNDAY

In view of the situation of Corona in Delhi, Home Minister Amit Shah held another meeting on Sunday. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia attended the meeting through video conferencing and at the same time, Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal and other top officials were also present during this period. Let us tell you that this is the third meeting of Amit Shah and Kejriwal in the past one week on the worsening situation of Corona in Delhi.
