Indian cricket team's fast bowler Ashok Dinda, who was dropped out of the Bengal team for disciplinary reasons during the Ranji Trophy season last year, described himself as a victim of Bengal cricket politics, saying he would make a strong comeback with a new team this season. Dinda, the highest wicket-taker for Bengal after Utpal Chatterjee, was dropped from the team after a fierce clash with bowling coach Ranadeb Bose.

Let us tell you that the Bengal team finished as runners-up despite this controversy. Dinda told that he was in talks with some of the teams and that he would soon apply for a No Objection Certificate with the Bengal Cricket Association (CAB). Dinda said, "I will not be part of the Bengal team, that's for sure. I made this decision only in the last session. This is my personal issue."

Dinda gave Sushant Singh Rajput's example:

He said, 'You saw what Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput had gone through. It is the same everywhere, but I am mentally strong and I cannot break down due to anyone.' Dinda, who played 13 One-Day and nine T20 Internationals for India, said, "I will play for any other state. Discussions are going on with some teams, but I have not decided yet which team I will represent in the next season.

People here are selfish: Dinda

Let us tell you that Ashok Dinda was accused of using abusive words for Bengal's bowling coach Bose. Let us tell you that Bose is a former fast bowler who took 317 wickets in 91 matches. Dinda refused to apologize to him and was also accused of creating differences within the team. He said, 'I am not happy to play here with this coaching staff. The way I was treated, I do not want to say anything. I gave my best to them. This world is selfish. He further said, I will definitely miss the home team, but I have a good relationship with my former teammates. (Cab Chairman) Abhishek Dalmia is friendly and a good person. Sometimes I also talk to Dada (Saurabh Ganguly). '
