Triumph Motorcycles has released a new teaser of the Daytona 660 Sport Tourer bike. The company will launch this bike in the global market including India on January 9. This will be a middleweight sportbike.

The British brand making premium bikes has shared this information on its official handle on social media platform X. The launching event will take place at 5:30 pm Indian time.

The bike can be launched in India at a price of around Rs 9.50 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, the Daytona 660 will compete with other bikes like the Yamaha R7, Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Honda CBR 650R.

Triumph Daytona 660: Performance

Although the company has not shared any official information about the specifications of the bike, but the 660 moniker has been shown on the company's website. From this we can expect that the all new model will be provided with the engine found in Tiger Sport 660 and Trident 660.

Talking about the 660cc Triumph engine, it is a three-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit, which generates 81 hp of power and 64 Nm of peak torque. The engine is tuned to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch. The bike can be provided with 2-way quickshifter and traction control system with 2 riding modes – Rain and Road.

Triumph Daytona 660: Features

The upcoming Triumph Daytona 660 will come with dual LED headlight cluster, clip-on handlebar and footpegs set slightly back.

The switchgear, levers and instrument cluster in the latest bike look similar to the company's Trident and Tiger Sport.

For suspension, there will be non-adjustable upside USD down forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear, while disc brakes will be seen on both the wheels.
