Sam Altman-backed artificial intelligence company Humane has started pre-booking of 'AI Pin', which the company launched in November last month. This is the world's first wearable computer operated by AI. Altman is the co-founder of OpenAI, the company that created ChatGPIT.
"We are pleased to announce that shipping of the AI Pin will begin in March 2024," Humane wrote on social media platform X. All of us at Humane are looking forward to your AI Pin experience. The company has said that those who order first will be shipped first.
The Humane AI Pin comes in three variants – Eclipse, Lunar and Equinox. The company has kept the price of Eclipse at $699 (about ₹ 58 thousand). Whereas, the price of Lunar and Equinox has been kept at $ 799 (about ₹ 66 thousand). Currently the company is accepting orders only from US shipping addresses. Humane has not given any information as to when it will be available in other countries including India.
Bethany Bongiorno and Imran Chaudhary, founders of the startup 'Human' that created this AI Pin, are ex-employees of tech company Apple.
