Bareilly: Student’s Body Recovered from Hotel Room, Died on Nainital Trip

The body of a student of Shahjahanpur was found naked in a hotel in Bareilly. The student had left home to go to Nainital four days ago. On the information of the hotel staff, the police broke the door of the room and took possession of the dead body. After this information was given to the relatives in Shahjahanpur. Two empty liquor bottles and sulphas packets were found near the dead body.

The boy was 22 years old

Varun (22), son of Shahjahanpur's textile merchant Mukesh Gupta, had taken a room at Dev Movie Hotel located in Shahamatganj in the city four days ago. He had left his house with friends saying that he would go to Nainital. But, did not go to Nainital and stayed in the hotel. When the hotel staff contacted to vacate room 104 but the door did not open. When the room was not opened from inside after a long time, there were doubts.

Hotel manager Bharat Singh told that the door of the room was knocked for a long time. There was no sound from inside. After this, he called on the mobile number recorded on the register. The phone was off. After this, information was given to the Baradari police. Inspector Neeraj Malik entered the hotel room by breaking the door.

During this, Varun's body was found lying naked on the bed of the room. The police informed the matter to textile trader Mukesh Gupta, resident of Aliganj in Shahjahanpur. Soon after getting the information, his relatives living near Rohilkhand's post reached Jaiprakash Hotel.

The police also searched the room. In the search of the room, two empty bottles of liquor and shells of sulphas packets were found.

The relatives told that Varun had withdrawn Rs 15,000 from his mother's account. He did not return home till evening. He was called and talked about going to Nainital with friends on the phone. Family members told that Varun had passed the Inter examination last year. The police are investigating those who came to the hotel with him. With this, the exercise of extracting the CDR of the mobile has started. Mobile is expected to reveal the secret of death. At present, the police are also talking about having a love affair.
