The mahants have issued a video message appealing to the devotees not to be a part of the crowd in Ayodhya.
The 12-day Sawan Jhula Fair of Ayodhya begins with the Maniparvat Jhula Fair in Ayodhya. On this day, there has been a tradition of taking the idols of God to Mani Parvat with pomp and gaiety from many places like Maniram Cantonment, Shri Ramvallabhkunj, Dasharatha Mahal, Rangmahal, Kanak Bhawan, etc. There the Lord swings on the banyan branches in front of the Mani Parvat temple. It has been a tradition to start the Jhula Mela only after Jhulan's return to the temples.
The death anniversary of Shri Mahant Ramchandra Das Paramhans of the Akhil and Bharatiya Digambar Ani Akhara, the great hero of the Ram temple movement, is organized in the Digambar Akhara on August 11. To pay tribute to Paramhans Maharaj, the Chief Minister of the state and Goraksha Peethadheeshwar Mahant Yogi Adityanath have also been involved in this program. However, this time no program of CM's arrival in Ayodhya has come.
In view of the importance of the fair, DM Anuj Kumar Jha, Senior Superintendent of Police Shailesh Pandey, Superintendent of Police Nagar Vijay Pal Singh, Police Officer Rajesh Kumar Rai, and other officials have inspected the fair area. A large number of devotees visit the temple to visit Sitaram's court. Ayodhya Kotwali in charge Ashok Kumar Singh told that there will be no ban on darshan but there should be no crowd, care will be taken everywhere. Due to the old age of the temple, special care is being taken for the movement of devotees.
Mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay says that the fair is a matter of immense reverence, but there will be no shortage of any kind of vigilance regarding Covid.
In view of the Corona epidemic, the symbolic Jhulan temple will be held in Ayodhya Edward Teerth Vivechani Sabha, President of Shri Ramvallabhkunj, Swami Rajkumar Das, said that Sawan Mela is a festival of joy. In which the devotees are lost in the tableau of the swing of the Lord. Every evening, the Jhulan festival of God takes place in major temples including the building. This time in view of the corona epidemic, the symbolic Jhulan will be in the temple. Devotees have been appealed not to be a part of the crowd.
Swami Rajkumar Das told that Shri Ramvallabhkunj is seated in the temple. For the whole 12 days, the aarti and his services are done. It is considered to be the grandest Jhulan of Ayodhya.
