Spot counseling has been announced for the vacant seats of state government and Polytechnic institutions. Spot counseling will be conducted in all institutions on July 29 and 30. All students will include in this who applied for the Polytechnic Entrance Exam.

Details of vacant seats of all institutions will be issued on 28th July. For the third round of counseling, registration will be done on July 17-18. There will be seat allotment done on July 19th.

Mukesh Anand, principal of the State Polytechnic Kanpur, said that after the seat allotment, the admission process will start from 20 to 24. During this time, all the students who have verified the documents in counseling will have to take admission by locking the seat. If no admission takes place then his seat will be treated as vacant.

All private polytechnic institutions in the state will be given an opportunity to get admission directly from July 31. This time students who do not give the entrance examination of Polytechnic will also be able to join. This process will last till August 15.
