It wasn't long ago that Guinness World Records crowned a 21-year-old dog named TobyKeith the oldest living dog. Pebbles, a 22-year-old toy Fox Terrier from South Carolina in the United States, has suddenly seized the title.

After his owner petitioned for the record, Pebbles was named the new holder. Pebbles, who was born on March 28, 2000, is 22 years and 59 days old. "Pebbles is like a crazy teen who sleeps all day and is awake all night," her owner Julie Gregory told Guinness World Records.

We are extremely grateful. Pebbles has been with us through it all; ups and downs, happy and bad times, and she have always been the light in our life," Julie said. The Gregorys' small dog is the center of attention.
