In Doll Gang Rape Case Culprits are Sentenced for 20 Years

Both the convicts in the Doll gang rape case have been sentenced to 20 years in prison by a Delhi court. The court has also ordered compensation of Rs 11 lakh to the victim girl. Karkardooma Court sentenced Manoj Shah and Pradeep Kumar to 20 years of imprisonment. However, the aggrieved party has said to challenge the verdict in the High Court, saying that the culprits have been given minimum punishment. The decision has come in this case after about 7 years.

The aggrieved side is not satisfied with the 20-year sentence awarded to the convicts. The complainant in this case, Bachpan Bachao Andolan Advocate Phoolka said after the court's verdict, 'This is the minimum punishment for the crime committed by the culprits. We will go to Delhi High Court for further punishment.
