Twitter CEO Jack Patrick Dorsey tweeted on Monday that the amount has been donated to three non-governmental organizations – Care, Ed India, and Seva International USA. Care has been given $ 10 million, while Ed India and Seva International USA have been given $ 2.5 million.
The San Francisco-based company said in a statement, "Seva International is a Hindu, faith-based, non-profit service organization. The donation is being funded to treat Covid patients. It is used as ventilators, beds and other life-saving devices." The statement also said that these devices will be distributed in government hospitals, Covid-19 care centers, and other hospitals.
Sandeep Khadkekar, vice president of Seva International, thanked the CEO of Twitter, Dorsey, saying, "It's a service and I'm glad you helped us come forward. We will do our best to live up to your expectations and help Corona infected patients." Will take good care of you. " He added, "At this time we all need to unite and fight Corona. If we do this then control of this virus can be found soon."
