Digvijaynath Worked as Both a Saint and a Soldier: Uma Bharti

Shivani Alakh

Former Union Minister Uma Bharti said that we are seeing the results of the austerities of both great men Digvijay Nath and Mahant Avedyanath as Yogi Adityanath. Saints are always children and to understand this Mahant Avedyanath has to understand. Digvijaynath acted as both a saint and a soldier.

Uma Bharti was addressing a tribute ceremony held at Gorakhnath temple here on the death anniversary of Mahant Digvijay Nath, who said that these saints have also done the work of protecting the country along with worshiping God. After Yogi Adityanath became CM, it seemed that part of Gorakhdhuni's flame has come out.

She said that Yogi ji went to Noida repeatedly and the chair did not go out of his hand, others left. Uttar Pradesh wanted a person who was free from casteism, familism and attachment. Such a person could only be Yogi Adityanath. UP is very lucky that today such a person has emerged from Gorakshadham to protect UP. To become a good ruler, the firmness and toughness that is required in saints.

Today Modiji is cheering all over the world and the sadhus who performed penance in Kailash have been blessed by him. Even before Modi and Yogi, people have held these positions, as both the vulture and the goose reach the height, but their eyes are on rotten flesh and pearls respectively. Both these people took the country and the state to great heights.
