CM of Punjab, Kerala and West Bengal Refuses to Implement the Civil Amendment Bill 2019

The Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 has been approved by President Ram Nath Kovind, but the bill has been refused to be implemented by the Chief Ministers of Punjab, Kerala and West Bengal.

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has called the cab wrong. He said that Punjab will not implement this bill in any situation in his state. At the same time, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has also opposed this bill. He opposed the bill, saying that the bill is unconstitutional. Apart from this, he has accused the central government of dividing people on religious grounds.

On the other hand, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has also strongly opposed this bill. He said that it will not apply at all during my rule and no one in the state can implement it on their own. Please tell that before this she is opposing this bill.
