The final list of NRC has been released in Assam. More than 3 crore people have got place in this list released by the Ministry of Home Affairs. At the same time, 19 lakh people are not named in this list. However, these people need not be disturbed. These will not be declared foreign immediately. Legal avenues will be open for these people. Those who are not named in this list will be able to Appeal to foreign tribunals. They have 120 days for this. However, soon after the final list, all kinds of Political reactions have started coming about it.

Assam Finance Minister and BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma has raised questions on this list. He has stated that the names of many Indian nationals who had migrated from Bangladesh as refugees before 1971 have not been included in the NRC. This happened because the authorities refused to take the refugee certificate. Many people were manipulated into data and added to it. I reiterate that as requested by the Central and State Governments, at least 20% in the border areas and 10% in the remaining areas should be approved by the Supreme Court for reverification. So that NRC can be right and fair.

Earlier on Friday, he said, 'We have lost hope with the current form of NRC right after the draft. When so many genuine Indians are out, how can it be claimed that this document is a red letter. '

Delhi Pradesh BJP President Manoj Tiwari has said that NRC is also needed in Delhi. He said that the situation in the capital is very bad. A large number of outsiders are living here illegally. In such a situation, NRC should be implemented soon.
