Amna Nawaz will be the New Face to Conduct a Debate for the US Presidential Candidacy

An American journalist of Pakistani descent has been selected to conduct a debate in the US for the presidential candidacy. She is the first American journalist of South Asia origin to be selected for this work. This information came from a media report on Saturday. According to a report by Dawn News, PBS News Hour's Amna Nawaz will co-operate the Sixth Democratic primary debate to be held on December 19 at Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles.

Prior to joining News Hour, Nawaz was an anchor and reporter at ABC News. During that time he covered the 2016 presidential election. Prior to this she was a foreign correspondent at NBC News, who has been reporting from many areas such as Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, Turkey. He is also the founder and former managing editor of NBC's Asian America Platform.
