Hyundai will Update Creta, Launch New EX Variant

It has been reported that Hyundai Motors India is working to upgrade all the models of its Creat SUV. According to a report, the company can present a new 'EX' variant of Creta SUV in the coming days. According to the information received, the new 'EX' variant will replace the existing 'E +' model.

In addition to the new 'EX' variant at Creta SUV, the company will also shut off the automatic-diesel trim. That is, after that only 'SX' variants will remain in the diesel-automatic combinations. According to the report of AutocarIndia, many features and equipment will be provided in the new 'EX' variant of Hyundai Creta as compared to the existing models.

New features include Front fog lamps with Integrated DRLs, Central Arm-rest for rear passenger with cup holders, Adjustable headrest for rear parking camera and rear seats. These features will be common in both the 'EX' trim petrol and diesel variants. On the other hand, if you talk about the diesel EX variants of Hyundai Creta, there will be some more features in it. It will feature 5.0-inch touch screen audio system, sunglass, map light with holder, front-USB charging socket and steering-mounted audio controls.

Apart from the above mentioned changes, there will not be any change in the lineup of Hyundai Creta in India. Hyundai Creta will be available in the same way as the three engine options – 1.4-liter diesel, 1.6-liter diesel and 1.6-liter petrol.

The 1.4-liter diesel unit produces the power of 89bhp and pickup torque of 220Nm. At the same time, the 1.6-liter diesel unit generates 126bhp power and 260Nm pickup torque. In addition to the 1.6-liter petrol unit, it produces power of 122bhp and torque of 151Nm. According to the different variants, with the three engines, 6 speed manual or automatic transmission option is available.
