Monali Gupta

Through fake and fraud reviews on Facebook Group, many companies are cheating customers on Amazon's online. Such scams are being done by very small and big companies. These companies are fudging Amazon's 2.6 billion people worldwide with posting fake reviews.

A report by The Guardian states that the Facebook Group is being promoted through false review and information so that consumers create an anxiety and eagerness to buy that product. Since the reviewers have to actually pay for the items, so, Amazon customers are being taken under faith and believe that the customers who are reviewing are genuine.

After making a purchase, the company refunds the price of the item and then withdraws the goods. Sometimes, additional funds are also being paid for this work. These low-end brands were given a Fake 5 Star Rating Review. The researcher analyzed many tech products and found that the top-rated brands included were like ITSHINY, and EyeTalk .

Some Facebook groups were active in writing Fake Review. In these Facebook groups, companies gave information about the product and demanded a positive review. The reviewers bought the goods so that they could look like real buyers. Facebook has now removed these groups. Amazon said that the company will invest on the website for the correctness of the review.
