Nidhi Hakla

The prices of Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon have increased.  The company has increased its price by Rs 4437 to Rs 90,003 (ex-showroom, Delhi).  Bajaj Auto launched the motorcycle in November 2018 for Rs 64,889 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and since then the price of this motorcycle has increased by Rs 25,114.  It has seen the biggest increase in the price of a 150 cc motorcycle.  It is the most affordable bike in the 150 cc segment at the time of launch, until the company launched the Pulsar 125 Neon.

The price has been increased by Rs 10,336 in April 2020 after updating this motorcycle to BS6 standards.  We suspect that the latest price hike may be to give the company momentum as it was not able to operate in April and saw a 81 percent drop in its home sales last month.

In the motorcycle, the company has given a new engine cowl, the rest of the motorcycle gets the same color scheme and graphics.  In the Pulsar 150 Neon Series, the engine cowl company has given a new, but it is offered in other Pulsar variants.  The Pulsar 150 Neon offers the company a 149.5 cc single-cylinder engine that comes with fuel injected technology and BS6 standards.  This engine generates 13.6 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 13.4 Nm torque at 6,000 rpm.
