The Namibian men's football team progressed to the following stage in African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals qualifiers after playing to a goalless draw against Comoros on Sunday in Windhoek.

Namibia won the first leg 2-0 on July 26 in Moroni and propelled 2-0 in the total. In spite of the capability, Namibia mentor Bobby Samaria lamented the botched opportunities close by.

"During the first half, we ran at them and we had chances to score. It was the same story in the second half as we did not convert any goals. I guess luck was not on our side today but we managed the game very well," the Namibia Football Association's website.

For the last round of the 2020 CHAN qualifiers, Namibia will presently take on Madagascar, who advanced on away goals in the wake of drawing Mozambique 3-3 on the total, between Sept. 20 and Oct. 18 to reach CHAN 2020 to be facilitated by Ethiopia.
