Sourav Ganguly, president of BCCI, has given an update regarding Hardik's fitness. Ganguly spoke about Hardik's fitness and said that he has not yet fully fit after surgery. Ganguly said, "He cannot play right now. It is going to take some more time for him to get fit right now."

Significantly, after undergoing back surgery in London, Hardik started training and it was believed that he would soon return to the field. According to the information, Hardik's fitness test was also taken during the Australia ODI series in which he could not prove himself.
