Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who arrived in China after the withdrawal of special state status from Jammu and Kashmir, has claimed that Beijing has supported his stand on Kashmir. Let the Government of India take a historic decision on July 5 and abolish Article 370 giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were declared as Union Territories. After this decision of the Government of India, there has been an earthquake in the politics of Pakistan. Now Pakistan is trying to garner support for itself on the Kashmir issue.

After the decision of the Government of India, Pakistan said that it will take up the Kashmir issue with international forums and heads of nations. Since China is his most trusted partner, Qureshi is the first to arrive at China's doorstep. Qureshi met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and other leaders on Thursday. After this meeting, Qureshi made several tweets. He claimed, 'I had a big and decisive meeting with the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi today. Pakistan has a brotherly relationship with China and by expressing this relationship, China assured Pakistan of its support.

He said, Pakistan and China are together against the "aggression" of India in Kashmir and both countries call for peace and stability in the region. Qureshi claimed, "Foreign Minister Wang Yi believed that India's aggressive attitude in Kashmir could harm the people there and they would not be able to raise their voice." With this move of India, the entire region will face danger. The Foreign Minister said that 'both countries will work together to bring the voice of Kashmiri people to the world'.

Pakistan wants to raise the Kashmir issue

Pakistan wants to raise the Kashmir issue in the eyes of the world and efforts are being made continuously on its behalf, but no country has neither stood with it nor is making notes in its tone. It was expected from Muslim countries that they would support him on Kashmir issue but he got disappointment. Among the Gulf countries, Pakistan has the closest relationship with Saudi Arabia and Saudi Arabia has been pulling it out of difficult times but this time it has not even supported it. The United Arab Emirates (UAE), another important country in the Gulf, has slammed it. The UAE has clearly stated that Kashmir is an internal issue of India. The rest of the Muslim countries also have the same opinion.

Pakistan wanted the US to mediate on the Kashmir issue. After Kashmir's special status ended, it adopted its strategy to pressure America. Foreign Minister Qureshi gave a statement that Kashmir will have an impact on Afghanistan. Qureshi was referring to the Afghanistan peace process. Pakistan is helping Washington to advance the Afghanistan peace process and evacuate American troops from there. Pakistan felt that America would help him because of this, but he felt disappointed. The US State Department has suggested resolving the Kashmir issue through mutual talks. However, he has said that he is monitoring the situation.
