Paneer Bhurji: Try this Restaurant-Style Recipe at Home

Ingredients:

2 cups mashed Paneer

1 tablespoon oil

1 tbsp Ghee

1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

1/4 teaspoon fennel seeds

1/4 teaspoon asafoetida

1 medium onion sliced

1-2 green chillies crushed

1-inch ginger crushed

4-5 large garlic crushed

2 medium-sized tomatoes chopped

1 teaspoon Coriander Powder

3/4 teaspoon pav bhaji masala

1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder

Salt to taste

How to make Paneer Bhurji:

1. Put oil and ghee in a pan and heat it. After heating, add cumin and fennel and let it roast for a few seconds. Now add asafoetida to it.

2. Fry by adding onion, green chillies, ginger and garlic. Cook 5 minutes until light brown. You can add a pinch of salt so that the onion cooks quickly.

3. Now add chopped tomatoes and cook for at least 3 minutes till they become soft. Then add coriander powder, pav bhaji masala, turmeric and red chilli powder, salt and cook some.

4. Then add paneer and mix it well. Cook it for 2 to 3 minutes. Avoid overcooking. Once ready, add a little lemon juice to it and turn off the gas.

5. Paneer Bhurji is ready. Serve it with paratha or roti.
