Due to the rush at the railway stations of Delhi during Diwali and Chhath Puja, some restrictions are on sale of platform tickets at four major stations from Friday. During this time, people who come to board their relatives, experts etc. will not get platform tickets. Along with this, strict checking of tickets of the passengers going to the station will also be done.

According to information received from the Northern Railway spokesperson, platform tickets will be completely closed from October 25 to November 2 at New Delhi, Old Delhi and Anand Vihar railway stations. At the same time, platform tickets will not be sold at Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station from October 25 to 27.

Although those people who come to the station to help the elderly, women, children, the disabled, will be exempted from this restriction, the rest will not get any exemption and action will be taken against them if caught.
