Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has canceled the license of Air Asia pilot Ravi Raj for 3 months. Ravi Raj is alleged to have sent a Hijack code incorrectly on Delhi-Srinagar flight on 9th June.

In the same case, DGCA has warned Air Asia pilots to violate aviation rules.

Earlier, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) suspended the flight license of two pilots for 6 months on Tuesday. This action was taken against SpiceJet pilot Saurabh Gulia and Aarti Gunasekharan.

The pilots had alleged that they had damaged the light management on the side of the runway while landing the aircraft on the Kolkata airport. This event happened on 2nd July.

Before that on June 17, before the plane was flying, Payal Milind and cabin crew Rajat Verman were suspended for accusations of sharp debate and assault. The DGCA had asked for an answer from both, but they failed to defend themselves. In all these cases, the DGCA had suspended 3 pilots and one crew member for 6 months.
