Case Filed Against those who Spreading Rumors of Uttarakhand Chief Minister’s Death

Police have registered a case against some people who spread rumors of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat's death on social media. Director General of Police (Crime and Law and Order) Ashok Kumar said that sad, embarrassing and false news has been spread about the Chief Minister and taking cognizance of this, Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun has been asked to register the case and arrest the culprit.

He said that people who spread rumors on social media will not be spared under any circumstances and against such people strict and harsh action will be taken. Kumar said that these people have crossed all limits in this case and the conspirators as well as the conspirators will not be spared.
