Alok Verma was made Director General of Fire Services but on Friday he Refused to take Charge

Alok Verma has refused to accept the new Responsibility. Verma was removed from the rank of CBI Director to the Director General of Fire Services, but on Friday, he refused to take charge and resigned. A day after Alok Verma was removed, M Nageshwar once again took over the charge of the CBI Director again. As soon as the post took over, Rao cancelled all the decisions including transfer-posting taken by Verma in the last two days and restored the status of 8 January.

Please tell that Nageshwar Rao has been given the responsibility of interim director after Verma's leave from the post of director.

Earlier, on the order of the Supreme Court, as soon as the CBI Director was restored, Verma had ordered immediate transfers in the head on January 8. Verma also cancelled the transfers made in his absence. On Thursday, he had appointed the 2006 batch IPS officer Mohit Gupta as the Investigation Officer in the case against Special Director Rakesh Asthana. Earlier, on Wednesday morning, he had ordered the transfer of 11 officials and he had made 5 new changes on Thursday. Now Nageshwar Rao has cancelled all these decisions
