The remake of the film Mr. India, which is going to be made under the direction of Ali Abbas Zafar, is seen in controversy. When Ali Abbas Zafar announced the remake of this iconic film which came in 1987, the fans were quite happy after this. But, now the controversies about the film are getting more intense. After Mr. India director Shekhar Kapoor, now actress Sonam Kapoor has also expressed her displeasure over the news of the remake.

Sonam Kapoor is unhappy that Ali Abbas Zafar did not talk to his father Anil Kapoor before making the film Mr. India. Sonam tweeted and said, 'Many people are asking me about the remake of Mr. India. My father was not even aware of any such remake, we came to know this on social media when Ali Abbas Zafar tweeted about the film. It is a matter of great misfortune that no one talked to my father or Shekhar uncle about this film. Both of them had a big contribution in making this film. This is very sad because Mr. India is very close to my father's heart and he worked hard for this film.

By the way, it is not the case that only Sonam Kapoor is angry with Mr. India becoming a remake. Shekhar Kapur, director of Mr. India (1987), is also very upset. He tweeted, 'Nobody asked me about Mr. India 2. I think this title is being used to make a big weekend for the film. But these people cannot use the character or story of the film without the permission of the real producers.

Now, the ruckus about Mr. India's remake has definitely arisen but director Ali Abbaz Zafar is still silent. By the way, the casting of the film has not been announced yet. According to Ali Abbas Zafar, he is currently working on the scripting of the film.
