Taking a cue from Shah Rukh Khan and perhaps acting on his request, Salman Khan has decided to be the brand ambassador of Indian hockey too.

Sources say that it was Shah Rukh Khan who actually took the message to Salman Khan to consider promoting Indian hockey and Salman readily agreed.

The above facts were revealed as the news was officially confirmed that Salman Khan has decided to participate in the second phase of the inaugural function of Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.
