Famous small screen actress Avika Gor has said that the situation that beauty creams have created over time that fairness means beauty, but she does not agree with it. She has not accepted the deal of three fairness cream brands. She has said that society cannot make idols of any one colour. Avika has carved a niche for herself in the industry with shows like 'Balika Vadhu', 'Sasural Simar Ka' and 'Khatron Ke Khiladi'. Avika started working very early in her career and her first show was Balika Vadhu through which she got the fame in the television industry.

Actually, recently she got many offers to advertise Fairness Cream. However, she refused to do these ads for fairness. Avika says that beauty creams believe that fairness means beauty and she does not agree with this at all.

She says that no one can be discriminated on the basis of color in the society. She further said, "I want to change this thinking. I am not worried about the money I get from advertising. Such things have a bad effect on the society. That's why I have refused to do these advertisements. Recently one of her video song also came, in which she appeared with Adil Khan.
