District Collector of Wayanad and Kerala Adila Abdullah has alleged that his photographs have been misused by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Adila said that during the awareness campaign on the citizenship law, a group of BJP leaders gave him a paper and then took pictures with him. He further said that these pictures were misrepresented on social media. Because of this, he faced a cyber attack. He said that I will lodge a police complaint against it.

The BJP is running door to door awareness campaign on citizenship law. In this connection, BJP leaders and workers reached Adila's office. He gave a letter to Adila. Someone's pictures went viral on social media. Adila said that since then, cyber attacks are being done on them. He said that as a district collector, it is our duty to take pamphlets and memorandum etc. of the people coming to our office. Especially when there is a representative of a political party.

After the citizenship law was passed from Parliament in December 2019, there was a fierce protest against it across the country. A lot of violence was also done in many places. In view of the protests, the BJP launched an awareness campaign. In view of the increasing opposition, the BJP will spread awareness among the people about this law only last month and the propaganda will be removed. So the party decided to launch a citizenship law comprehensive connectivity program. Pamphlets and pamphlets were distributed among the people regarding this law.
