Two days before the REET exam to be held on September 26 in Rajasthan, a big fraud has been exposed. In the tribal area, a government teacher has been caught in the case of giving fake candidates to poor youth to pass the REET exam. The government teacher was taking 5 to 8 lakh rupees per candidate in lieu of sitting fake candidates. In the police action, 12 to 17 lakh rupees, fake Aadhar cards, and documents related to many other competitive examinations including REET have been found from the room of the government teacher.
Simalwada DSP Rameshwarlal said that information was received through the informer that the teacher of the government school was taking a huge amount from the candidates in lieu of placing fake candidates. The teacher lives in a complex in Peeth town. On this, the team of Dhambola police station in-charge Ramesh Katara under the leadership of DSP raided the complex in Peeth town. Preliminary investigation revealed that Bhanwarlal Vishnoi, a teacher working in Raupravavi Kadvasaphala Dunka, is originally from Barmer.
When the police searched the room, about Rs 12 lakh in cash and checks of Rs 7.50 lakh were also found in it. The DSP said that in the 8 Aadhar cards found from the room, there are names and addresses of other people, but all of them have photographs of teacher Bhanwarlal. Also, many other documents including the application form, mark sheet, OMR sheet for the REET exam have been found. In this, documents related to Patwari recruitment and SI examination have also been recovered.
The DSP said that the accused teacher Bhanwarlal is working in the Dungarpur district for the last 15 years. The complex where he had taken a room on rent is a private college. This college has also been made the center of REET. Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused was taking a hefty amount in lieu of passing all the competitive examinations. It was reported about the REET exam was to be done for Rs 5 to 8 lakh. Teacher Bhanwarlal used to send these documents to another colleague, who used to plan to accommodate dummy candidates. The police have arrested the accused teacher Bhanwarlal in the case. His room has been sealed.
