According to the internal political equations of Congress, Sachin Pilot and CP Joshi have been considered as two opposite poles. Since Sachin Pilot became the Congress state president, very little has happened when both of them have met like this. When the time came for the floor test in the Congress, Joshi stood against Pilot. Now suddenly Sachin Pilot's visit to CP Joshi's house is being considered as a sign of new political equations of Congress.

On September 17, Sachin Pilot met Rahul Gandhi and discussed the political environment of the state and the strategy ahead. It is believed that soon changes will start in the power organization in the state. The first of the changes will be the work of cabinet expansion and organizational appointments. There is talk of giving responsibility to Sachin Pilot in the organization. It is believed that this work will be done after the expansion of the cabinet and the appointment of district heads. The meeting with CP Joshi is also being seen as an exercise before Sachin Pilot will get the responsibility in the future.

The house was adjourned indefinitely by Joshi.

CP Joshi had recently expressed his displeasure over the provocative conduct of the ministers during the proceedings of the assembly. Joshi was so annoyed at the provocative action taken by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal in the House that the assembly was adjourned sine die. Later a fresh bulletin had to be issued.
