Schools were closed since March as soon as the second wave of Corona arrived. After that even examinations could not be held and children were promoted without examination. Right now teachers and other staff are coming regularly to the schools, but the classes of the children are closed. The new session has started from July. With the reduction of Corona, the Education Department has decided to start studies in schools.

Heavy loss of education to children in two waves of Corona

Due to the closure of schools in the first and second wave of Corona, the children have suffered a great loss of education. Experts believe that during the Corona period, schools continued the education of children through online classes, but children are facing problems in many subjects. There is a network problem in remote villages, children from poor families with no laptop or smart phone, due to which they are deprived of education. Offline classes are the only support for such children.
