Mamata Banerjee Announced the Lockdown in Entire Bengal till 31 March

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday announced the lockdown in entire Bengal now till 31 March, Municipal bodies and rural areas of some districts have been declared till March 27 in lockdown. After holding a press conference on Tuesday, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that in view of the increasing number of coronavirus disease, the areas where there were no lockdowns will start from 5 pm today. Apart from this, Mamta Banerjee said that poor, labours will be given five kilograms of food grains every month for the next six months.

Mamta Banerjee left the city after a press conference for surprise inspections with police and administrative officials. First CM reached Medical College Hospital where she took stock of the situation and saw the arrangements. Also spoke to the hospital and college principal and handed over the mask and sanitizers.

Also CM was seen talking from a distance. The way people are getting exposed in the food shops is also being investigated. It is alleged that many people are committing black marketing. Kolkata Police Commissioner Anuj Sharma was also present during the inspection along with the CM.
